The perfect cozy breakfast for when it begins to get chilly outside and guaranteed to keep you full and satisfied all morning. Ready in 10 minutes!
Ingredients:
1 chopped apple, your choice!
1 tbsp of coconut oil
1/2 cup of old fashioned oats
1 cup of water
Dash of cinnamon
Toppings:
Sugar free maple syrup
Chopped pecans
Chopped walnuts
Pumpkin seeds
Cinnamon sugar
Directions:
Saute chopped apples in a small pan on medium heat with coconut oil. Sprinkle cinnamon over apples. Cook for about 5 minutes until apples soften.
Separately cook 1/2 cup of oats by combining 1 cup of water (or milk) and microwave on high for 2-1/2 to 3 minutes. Choice of cooking on stovetop works here as well.
Mix in cooked apples to your finished oats and top with desired toppings.
