Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

The perfect cozy breakfast for when it begins to get chilly outside and guaranteed to keep you full and satisfied all morning. Ready in 10 minutes!



Ingredients:

  • 1 chopped apple, your choice!

  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil

  • 1/2 cup of old fashioned oats

  • 1 cup of water

  • Dash of cinnamon

Toppings:

  • Sugar free maple syrup

  • Chopped pecans

  • Chopped walnuts

  • Pumpkin seeds

  • Cinnamon sugar


Directions:

  1. Saute chopped apples in a small pan on medium heat with coconut oil. Sprinkle cinnamon over apples. Cook for about 5 minutes until apples soften.

  2. Separately cook 1/2 cup of oats by combining 1 cup of water (or milk) and microwave on high for 2-1/2 to 3 minutes. Choice of cooking on stovetop works here as well.

  3. Mix in cooked apples to your finished oats and top with desired toppings.

  4. Done, it's that easy!
